Hello,
My name is Carrie. My friends and I are avid MtBikers and will be camping near Ferndale this weekend. Can you direct us to a few of you favorite fun Mt. Bike rides?
Thanks
Hi Carrie! Welcome. Two rides stand out on the south end of the county – Paradise Royale of course is first, it’s a little more than an hour from Ferndale but well worth it. 12-14 mile loop designed specifically to be fun for bikes. The IMBA-designed skills park at the campground is rumored to be finished and a whole bunch of fun. Top-notch camping, too. Second is the Thornton loop down at Humboldt Redwoods. Arcata Forest is a fun place to play, and getting better all the time. Check Jim’s Northcoastbikerides blog for more info, maps and such. The local shops are good sources of information as well.
Hey im from Cookeville and i was just wondering if these trails are open to the public. Im talking about the dirt jumps. Also do you allow bmxers?
